 The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway has released the official notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2025-26 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 3,115 vacancies have been announced across various units including Howrah, Sealdah, Asansol, Malda, Liluah, Jamalpur, and Kanchrapara. The online application process will commence from 14 August 2025 and the last date to apply is 13 September 2025. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply at www.rrcer.com.

This recruitment offers a great opportunity for 10th pass candidates with ITI in relevant trades to undergo apprenticeship training in Indian Railways.

Educational Qualification:

• 10th Pass with minimum 50% marks (under 10+2 system)
• ITI certificate in relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT

• Maximum Age: 24 years (as on the closing date of application)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years
