GATE 2027

The GATE 2027 online application process will start on 14 August 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the GOAPS portal. Candidates who are currently studying in the third year or higher of an eligible undergraduate programme, as well as those who have already completed a qualifying degree, can apply.

The GATE 2027 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 February 2027.

GATE 2027 Notification:

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027 notification has been officially released. IIT Madras will serve as the Organizing Institute for GATE 2027. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for admission to M.E./M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes at IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISc, and other leading institutions. GATE scores are also used by several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for recruitment.
