CSIR-UGC NET June 2024:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued the Joint CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2024 Notification on May 1, 2024. The CSIR UGC NET test will take place on June 25, 26, and 27, 2024, using a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination is used to assess eligibility for a Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professorship, and Ph.D. admission in Indian universities.
So, this is an essential test, and the online application form for the CSIR UGC NET June 2024 opened on May 1, 2024, and will close on May 21, 2024. From May 25 to 27, 2024, applicants will be able to update their application forms.
The CSIR UGC NET June 2024 exam will be conducted for the following six test papers:

- Earth Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Mathematical Sciences

CSIR UGC NET June 2024 Eligibility
Age Limit: The age limit for the JRF is a maximum of 30 Years as on 1 June 2024. The age relexation of 5 years will be given to the OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, Third Gender catetorires and women candidates.
There is no age limit for the Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D.
Education Qualification: General/ Unreserved/ General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from recognized universities/ institutions are eligible for CSIR UGC NET June 2024 Examination.
The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Disability (PwD)/ Third gender category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible to apply for CSIR UGC NET June 2024 Examination.
The candidates appearing in the Master’s degree final year are also eligible to apply.
