SSC Selection Post Phase 12 Notification 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the Selection Post Phase 12 Notification on 26 February 2024 for the recruitment of 2049 various posts through the SSC Phase-XII/2024/ Selection Posts. The eligible candidates can apply online for the SSC Selection Post Phase-12 starting from 26 February 2024. The Computer-Based Test for Phase-XII/ 2024/ Selection Posts is tentatively scheduled to be held from 6-8 May 2024. Overview :SSC Phase 12 Notification 2024

SSC Phase 12 Notification 2024: Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Selection Post Phase 12 Notification 2024 . Only those Applications which are successfully filled through the website of the Commission and found in order shall be accepted.Candidates should go through the Recruitment Notice carefully before applying for the 2post and ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions like Age-Limit/ EssentialQualifications (EQs)/ Experience/ Category, etc. as indicated in this Notice. Candidatureof candidates not meeting the eligibility conditions will be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process without any notice. Candidature of Applicants shall be purely PROVISIONAL at all stages of the recruitment process.

1.1. All information relating to this recruitment right from the stages of application upto the nomination of the selected candidates to the User Departments including call letters for the Computer Based Examination to the provisionally eligible candidates will be available on the website of Staff Selection Commission i.e. https://ssc.gov.in and the websites of the Regional Offices of the Commission.

1.2. Candidates are advised to visit the websites of the Regional Offices for the latest information in respect of various categories of posts pertaining to the Region concerned and the various stages of recruitment process.

The vacancies have been advertised by the Staff Selection Commission as per the Indents submitted by the respective Indenting Ministries/Departments/Offices. The Commission will not be responsible for withdrawal/ alteration of the vacancies by the Indenting Departments/ Offices.

Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each category of post.

Staff Selection Commission recruits personnel as per the vacancies reported by the User Ministries/Departments/Organizations. The Commission has no role in determination of total vacancies (Vertical & Horizontal) arising in a User Ministry/Department/Organization, backlog vacancies, segregation of vacancies under various reserved categories and vacancies reported to be filled up by direct recruitment.

After declaration of final result of the examination, dossiers of selected candidates are forwarded to the User Ministries/Departments/Organizations. The User Ministries/Departments/Organizations shall accept the dossiers forwarded after declaration of final result.

Staff Selection Commission confirms the vacancies from User Ministries/Departments/Organizations before declaration of the final result. Final result is declared and nominations/recommendations are made only against such confirmed vacancies. The User Ministries/Departments/Organizations will, therefore, accept the nominations made and dossiers sent to them.

In case a Ministry/Department/Organization is wound up, reorganized, or transferred under the administrative control of another Ministry/Department/Organization, its successor/administrative Ministry/Department will accept the dossiers. In case, the entire hierarchy of organizations upto the Ministry level is wound up, the Ministry/Department to which its work has been transferred would accept the dossiers.

Fee concession, age-relaxation, reservation, etc:

SSC Phase 12 Notification 2024 FEE RELAXATION AND AGE RELAXATION

For SC/ ST applicants: SC/ ST applicants seeking fee concession, age relaxation, reservation, etc. shall invariably submit the requisite Certificate as per format from competent authority certifying that their Caste/ Sub-Castes/ Communities are approved by the Government of India under SC & ST Category, as and when called for by the Commission/User Department, after conduct of the Computer Based Examination or at any stage thereafter, otherwise their claims for fee concession, age-relaxation, reservation etc. shall not be considered.

For OBC applicants: OBC applicants not covered under the Creamy Layer, as per the Standing Instructions of the Government of India as amended from time to time, seeking age-relaxation, reservation, etc.

The crucial date for this purpose will be the closing date for receipt of applications i.e. 18.03.2024. Candidates may also note in respect of the above that their candidature will remain provisional till the veracity of the concerned document is verified by the Appointing Authority.

For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Applicants:-

EWS applicants seeking reservation shall invariably submit the requisite Certificate as per Format at Annexure-XI from Competent Authority (Appendix-I of this Notice), as and when called for by the Commission/User Department otherwise their claims for reservation etc. shall not be considered.

How to apply: SSC Phase 12 Notification 2024

1 Candidates will have to apply for each category of post separately and also pay fee for each category of post.

2 Applications must be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.gov.in.

3 Last date for submission of online applications is 18.03.2024 (2300 Hrs).

4 Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

5 The Commission does not accept any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of the Commission.

6 Candidates should apply only once for one category of post.

7 The information furnished by the candidates in their applications will be verified by the User Department/Commission with reference to the original documents during 18 the Document Verification. During verification of documents, if it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in the application is wrong, his/ her candidature will be rejected forthwith. The candidates should ensure that they have furnished correct information in the application form.

After the closing date for receipt of online applications, the Commission wil provide a period of 3 days to enable candidates to correct/ modify online application parameters, wherein candidates will be allowed to re-submit applications after making requisite corrections/ changes in the one-time registration/ online application data as per their requirement.

A candidate will be allowed to correct/modify and re-submit his application two times during the ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ i.e. if he/she has made mistake(s) in his/her updated application also, he/she will be allowed to resubmit one more modified/ corrected application after making requisite corrections/ modifications. No more corrections in the application form will be allowed under any circumstances.

Only those candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the application form,whose completed online applications along-with payment of requisite fee, have been received by the Commission within the specified period.

Latest modified application will be treated as the valid one and the previous application(s) submitted by such candidates will be ignored.

The Commission will levy a uniform correction charges of ₹ 200/- for making correction and re-submitting modified/ corrected application for the first time and ₹ 500/- for making correction and re-submitting modified/ corrected application for the second time. The correction charges will be applicable to all candidates irrespective of their gender/ categories.

The correction charges can be paid only by online mode only through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit cards.

The correction charges once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

Before submission of the corrected application, candidates must check that they have filled correct details in each field of the form. After expiry of ‘Window for Application 20 Form Correction’, no change/ correction/ modification will be allowed under any circumstances. Requests received in this regard in any form like Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained by the Commission and will be summarily rej

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions, for the posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above levels. The details of subjects, marks and number of questions subject-wise will be as given below:-

There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examination will be normalized by using the formula published by the Commission through Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019 and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.

Skill Tests like Typing/ Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency Test, etc., where prescribed in the Essential Qualification, will be conducted, which will be of a qualifying nature.

The Commission shall have the discretion to fix different minimum qualifying standards in each component of the Examination taking into consideration among others, category-wise vacancies and category-wise number of candidates.

Tentative Answer Keys will be placed on the Commission’s website after the Examination. Candidates may go through the Answer Keys and submit representations, if any, within the time limit given by the Commission through on-line 24 modality only, on payment of Rs 100/- per question. Any representation regarding Answer Keys received within the time limit fixed by the Commission at the time of uploading of the Answer Keys will be scrutinized before finalizing the Answer Keys and the decision of the Commission in this regard will be final. No representation regarding Answer Keys shall be entertained later.

Syllabus for Computer Based Examination

Matriculation level

General Intelligence: It would include questions of non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

General Awareness: Questions are designed to test the general awareness of the environment and its application to the society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Quantitative Aptitude: This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

English Language: Candidates understanding of the Basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. his/her writing ability would be tested.

10+2 (Higher Secondary) level

General Intelligence: It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test will include questions on Semantic Analogy, Symbolic operations, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space Orientation ,Semantic Classification, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/Number Classification, Drawing inferences, Figural Classification, Punched hole/pattern-folding & unfolding, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern – folding and completion, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Building, Social Intelligence, Coding and de-coding, Other sub-topics, if any Numerical operations.

General Awareness: Questions are designed to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment and its application to the society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. Graduation & above level:

General Intelligence: It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.

English Language: Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. The questions in Parts A, B, & D will be of a level commensurate with the essential qualification viz. Graduation and questions in Part C will be of 10th standard level.
