Educational Qualification & Experience

• No specific educational qualification required.
• Preference will be given to retired officers with experience in credit, audit, or Forex-related fields.

SBI Retired Bank Officer Recruitment -2025 Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 60 years (should have retired from SBI or e-ABs on superannuation).
• Maximum Age: 63 years (as of 18th February 2025).

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates must have a good track record of service and should not have been subjected to any major penalties in the last five years.
• Retired officers should not be involved in any pending CBI or legal cases.
• The selected candidates should be in good health and should not have any major ailments.
• Candidates should be willing to work on a contractual basis without administrative or financial powers.

SBI Retired Bank Officer Recruitment -2025 Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

1. Shortlisting: Based on eligibility and past experience.
2. Interview: A total of 100 marks will be allotted for the interview. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the bank.
3. Final Merit List: Prepared based on the interview performance. In case of a tie in marks, senior candidates (by age) will be given preference.

Additional remuneration for Cluster Audits:

• ₹2000 per visit per branch (for weekly audit of Currency Chest Verification, Forex Transactions, etc.).
