The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced recruitment for various posts under Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix through CEN 08/2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 32,000 vacancies across all railway zones in India. Eligible candidates can apply online from 23rd January 2025 to 22nd February 2025. RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Eligibility
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass or ITI
Age Limit: The minimum age required to apply is 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 36 years as of 1st July 2025.

Relaxations are applicable for reserved categories, with OBC candidates eligible for 3 years of relaxation and SC/ST candidates eligible for 5 years of relaxation.
RRB Group D Recruitment -2024 Application Fee
The application fee for General and OBC candidates is ₹500, out of which ₹400 will be refunded after appearing for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). For SC/ST candidates, economically backward candidates, females, and transgender applicants, the fee is ₹250, which will be fully refunded after appearing for the CBT, minus applicable bank charges.-

RRB Group D Recruitment- 2024 Selection Process
The selection process includes several stages. The first stage is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) that assesses candidates’ knowledge in General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Candidates who qualify for the CBT will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which tests physical endurance and strength. Document verification will follow, where eligibility and authenticity of submitted documents will be confirmed. Finally, candidates must pass a Medical Examination to ensure they meet the physical and health standards required for the posts.
