RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released the Grade ‘B’ Recruitment 2024 Notification on 19 July 2024. The RBI Grade B Notification 2024 is released for the recruitment of various posts of Grade-B Officer including the Generalist, DEPR, and DSIM. The eligible candidates can apply online for the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 from the website rbi.org.in starting from 25 July to 16 August 2024, till 06:00 pm.

The RBI Grade B Notification has been released on 19 July 2024. The candidates can apply online for RBI Grade B 2024 from 25 July to 16 August 2024. The RBI Grade B Phase-I Online exam will be held on 8 September (for General), and 14 September (For DEPR and DSIM). The RBI Grade Phase-II exam will be held on 19 October 2024 (For General), and 26 October 2024 (Fro DEPR and DSIM).
The application fee of Rs. 850/- will be charged to the candidates of General, OBC, and EWS Categories. The candidates of the SC, ST, and PWD categories have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-. The 18% GST charges are extra for each category candidate.
The age limit for the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 is 21-30 Years. The cutoff date of the calculation for the age limit is 1 July 2024. The age relaxation will be given as per the rules.
There are three types of vacancies are advertised through the RBI Grade B Recruitment. The post-wise education qualification is given in the list below.

The post-wise education qualification for the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 is as follows: – For Grade B (General): Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade. – For DEPR (Department of Economic and Policy Research): Candidates should have a master’s degree in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Economics/Integrated Economics Course/Finance with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade. – For DSIM (Department of Statistics and Information Management): Candidates should have a master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/Econometrics/Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade. The selection process of the RBI Grade B includes the five stages including the Preliminary Written Test, Mains Written Test, Interview, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
RBI Grade B (General) Prelims Exam Pattern
The Prelims Exam Pattern of the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 includes 200 questions for 200 marks from the subjects including General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The time duration of the exam is 2 hours. Separate time will be allotted for each portion (subject) of the exam.
RBI Grade B (General) Mains Exam Pattern
The RBI Grade B exam mains exam includes three papers.
Paper-I (Economics and Social Issues): RBI Grade B Mains Paper-I includes the subject of Economics and Social Issues (50% Objective and 50% Subjective). The time duration of the objective exam is 30 minutes and the time duration of the subjective exam is 90 minutes. There are a total of 100 marks (50 each) for the objective and subjective exam.
Paper II (English- Written Skills): The paper-II of the RBI Grade B Mains exam consists of a descriptive paper of 100 marks. The paper is to test the English writing skills of the candidates. The time duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
Paper-III (General Finance and Management): The Paper-III is 50% Objective and 50% Subjective. The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes and the total marks of the exam are 100 (50 for each objective and subjective).
