Sagar Parikrama : aims to facilitate interaction with fishermen, coastal communities and stakeholders so as to disseminate information of various fisheries related schemes and programs being implemented by the government.
This Sagar parikrama will travel through different districts of Andhra Pradesh like Nellore, Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam. It will pass through Konaseema, Kakinada, Vizayanagaram, Yanam, Puducherry.

This is the initiative of department of fisheries which work under the ministry of fisheries animal husbandry and dairying.
This Sagar parikrama is covering all the coastal state of India. 1st phase of Sagar parikrama was from Mandvi to Porbandar in Gujarat. The first phase of Sagar parikrama was started on 5th March 2022.
