The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has released the notification for the recruitment of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) and Constable (Motor Mechanic) posts. ITBP Motor Mechanic Recruitment -2024 Vacancies, Eligibility, Qualification, Age Limit

The recruitment includes a total of 51 vacancies, divided between the posts of Head Constable and Constable (Motor Mechanic).

• Head Constable (Motor Mechanic): 7 vacancies (UR-2, SC-0, ST-3, OBC-1, EWS-1).
• Constable (Motor Mechanic): 44 vacancies (UR-17, SC-7, ST-7, OBC-7, EWS-6).

Educational Qualification

• For Head Constable (Motor Mechanic):
  • Passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or ITI with 3 years of practical experience in the trade, or a Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
• For Constable (Motor Mechanic):
  • Passed 10th class from a recognized board.
  • ITI in the relevant trade or 3 years of experience in the trade.

Age Limit

The age criteria for both posts are:

• Minimum Age: 18 years.
• Maximum Age: 25 years.
• Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.

ITBP Motor Mechanic Recruitment- 2024 Selection Process

The selection process consists of multiple stages to ensure transparency and merit-based recruitment. Candidates will undergo:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Height, weight, and chest measurements will be checked as per the guidelines.
3. Written Examination: A 100-mark objective-type test.
