The Indian Navy has opened applications for the Short Service Commission (SSC) Executive (Information Technology) entry under the Special Naval Orientation Course. Indian Navy SSC Executive IT Recruitment -2025 Eligibility, Qualification, and Age Limit

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have at least 60% marks in English in class X or XII and a minimum of 60% marks overall in any of the following qualifications:

• MSc / BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent.
• MCA with BCA / BSc (Computer Science / Information Technology).

Age Limit

• Born between 02 July 2000 and 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Additional Eligibility

• NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders with a minimum ‘B’ grade are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the cut-off marks during shortlisting for SSB interviews.

Indian Navy SSC Executive IT Recruitment -2025 Selection Process

The selection process includes:

1. Shortlisting of Applications: Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
   • BE/B.Tech: Marks up to the 5th semester.
   • Postgraduate (MSc/M.Tech/MCA): Marks up to the pre-final year or all semesters.
2. SSB Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/SMS.
   • The interview includes psychological, group, and individual tasks.
3. Medical Examination:
   • Candidates recommended by SSB must undergo a medical examination.
4. Final Merit List:
   • Prepared based on SSB performance and medical fitness.
