ICG Assistant Commandant Recruitment -2025 Selection Process

The selection consists of 5 stages:

1. Stage I – CGCAT (Computer Based Test)
   • 100 MCQs, 4 sections (English, Reasoning, Maths & Science, GK)
   • 2 hours duration, negative marking (1 mark), 4 marks per correct answer
   • All India Merit List based on normalized scores
2. Stage II – PSB (Preliminary Selection Board)
   • Cognitive Battery Test + Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT)
   • Qualifying in nature
3. Stage III – FSB (Final Selection Board)
   • Psychological Test, Group Task, and Interview
   • Conducted at Noida over 4–5 days
4. Stage IV – Medical Examination
   • Special medical exam at Base Hospital, New Delhi
5. Stage V – Induction
   • Reporting at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala in Dec 2026
