Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification:
  • B.Sc. (Agriculture) from a recognized university under a 4-year program.
  • M.Sc. (Agriculture) in second class from a recognized institution.
• Desirable Qualification:
  • First-class M.Sc. (Agriculture) or above.
  • Knowledge of Himachali customs, manners, and dialects suitable for appointment in the state’s unique conditions.

Age Limit (as of 01 January 2024)

• Maximum Age: 45 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
