DU Non-Teaching Recruitment -2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification and Age Limit

1. Assistant Registrar (Post Code: ND1001):
   • Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
   • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
2. Senior Assistant (Post Code: ND0601):
   • Qualification:
     • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
     • Three years’ experience as Assistant or equivalent in Level 4.
     • Proficiency in computer applications, noting, and drafting.
   • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
3. Assistant (Post Code: ND0401):
   • Qualification:
     • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
     • Two years’ experience as Junior Assistant or equivalent.
     • Typing Speed: 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi.
     • Proficiency in computer operations.
   • Age Limit: Maximum 32 years.

DU Non-Teaching Recruitment -2024 Selection Process

The recruitment process will consist of the following stages:

1. Preliminary Test (MCQ-based):
   • General Studies, Reasoning, Mathematical Ability, and Functioning of Higher Educational Institutions.
2. Main Examination (Descriptive):
   • For specific knowledge areas related to the post.
3. Skill Test:
   • Typing and computer proficiency tests for relevant positions.
4. Interview (for Assistant Registrar only):
   • Personality and suitability assessment.
