The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the conduct of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026, a crucial qualifying examination for aspiring teachers across India. This test is mandatory for candidates seeking teaching positions in Classes I to VIII at central government schools, including KVS, NVS, and other CBSE-affiliated institutions.

Note: There is no negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks are 60% (90/150). Relaxations are provided for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.
