The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 examination. This exam determines eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges. Eligibility Criteria for CSIR UGC NET December 2-024

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender).
• Final year Master’s degree students can also apply but must complete the degree with the required percentage within two years.

Age Limit:

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Maximum 30 years as of February 2025 (Relaxations for reserved categories as per government norms).
• Assistant Professor/Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit.
