Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit (on 30.09.2024):
  • General/EWS: 30 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 33 years
  • SC/ST: 35 years
  • PwBD: Additional relaxation up to 10-15 years as per category.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Discipline-specific qualifications such as Postgraduate degrees, MBA, B.E./B.Tech, or other professional qualifications with a minimum of 60% marks.

Note:

• Final-year students may also apply, provided they submit the final results during document verification.
• Detailed qualifications for each discipline are mentioned in the official notification.

CIL MT Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process comprises the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Online Test (CBT):
   • Two papers (Paper I & II), 100 marks each.
   • Paper I: General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English.
   • Paper II: Professional Knowledge (Discipline-specific).
   • No negative marking.
   • Minimum qualifying marks:
     • General/EWS: 40 marks per paper
     • OBC: 35 marks per paper
     • SC/ST/PwBD: 30 marks per paper
2. Document Verification (DV) and Initial Medical Examination (IME):
   • Candidates shortlisted based on merit will be called for document verification and medical examination.
3. Final Merit List:
   • Based on CBT scores only.

CIL MT Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks in 3 hours.
