Chandigarh JBT Recruitment 2025
The Chandigarh Education Department has released a recruitment notification for 218 posts of Junior Basic Teachers (JBT) for government schools in the city. The online application process will begin on 07 August 2025. The recruitment will be completed within 3 to 4 months, with final appointments expected by December 2025.
This recruitment is part of a larger plan to fill 993 regular teacher posts in Chandigarh schools. The selection will be done based on a written exam, and merit will be prepared category-wise. The written test will carry 150 marks, and minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for UR and 35% for reserved categories.
