Indian Air Force has released the official notification inviting online applications from Indian and Gorkha (a subject of Nepal) male candidates for the post of Airmen in Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade for Intake 02/2026. This recruitment provides an opportunity for unmarried and married male candidates (as per eligibility) with 10+2 or Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy to join the prestigious Indian Air Force.

The online registration will be open from 11 July 2025 to 31 July 2025, and the online exam will commence from 25 September 2025 onwards. Selection will be conducted in three phases: Online Test, Physical Fitness Test & Adaptability Tests, and Medical Examination.

Air Force Medical Assistant 2025 Age Limit

• For 10+2/Intermediate: 17 to 21 years (as on date of enrolment)
• For Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy holders: up to 24 years
• Married candidates eligible only if they hold Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy and are between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2005

Air Force Medical Assistant 2025 Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following phases:

1. Phase I – Online Test
   • Subjects: English (10+2 CBSE level), Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA)
   • Duration: 45 minutes
   • Negative marking: 0.25 for wrong answers
2. Phase II
   • Physical Fitness Test (1.6 km run, Push-ups, Sit-ups, Squats)
   • Adaptability Test-I (objective)
   • Adaptability Test-II (to assess military adaptability)
3. Phase III – Medical Examination
   • Conducted by IAF Medical Team as per standards
   • Includes lab tests, chest X-ray, ECG, vision check, etc.

Candidates can apply online through www.airmenselection.cdac.in from 11 July to 31 July 2025. During registration, applicants must upload scanned copies of:

• Passport size photo with black slate and chalk name/date
• Signature and thumb impression
• Educational certificates (10th, 12th, Diploma/B.Sc)
• Parent’s signature (if below 18)
• Pay the ₹550/- + GST fee online
• Print the Application form
