 The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 8. This exam is conducted for the recruitment of Nursing Officer (Group-B) positions in AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS across India. Eligible candidates can apply online from 24th February 2025 to 17th March 2025 (up to 5:00 PM).

AIIMS NORCET 8th Recruitment- 2025 Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

1. B.Sc. Nursing Route:

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University.
• OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University.
• Registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

2. GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) Route:

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board.
• Registered as a Nurse & Midwife in the State/Indian Nursing Council.
• Two years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the above qualification.

AIIMS NORCET 8th Recruitment- 2025 Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age relaxation as per AIIMS recruitment rules:
  • OBC: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. norms

AIIMS NORCET 8th Recruitment -2025 Selection Process

The selection process will include:

1. Stage 1: NORCET Preliminary (CBT) – 12th April 2025
2. Stage 2: NORCET Mains (CBT) – 2nd May 2025

The final merit list will be based on the candidate’s performance in both stages.
